Dear Liz,

I got to the final round in a job interview process, or maybe even further – I don’t really know. The company recruiter, Anabel, told me that the Editorial Director job was between me and one other candidate. Off the cuff in another conversation, a person who would be my co-worker if I get the job, Douglas, told me confidentially that everybody on the search committee thought I was a better fit.
